about me

A great number of things in our lives are taken for granted and are expected to work, but few people stop, with a great deal of enthusiasm, and examine ‘the how’. The life behind the scenes of every day objects has attracted me from a very young age. I began with taking apart toys to see how they worked. My fascination with programming began when I became aware that anyone could manipulate a computer to perform whatever task they wanted. In high school, I eagerly enrolled in all the programming courses which helped build the foundation I needed to study Information Technology at a post-secondary level. With a greater level of programming concepts learned in university, and my great appreciation for the web, I took it upon myself to further my web programming knowledge through private study. Over the years, my personal websites evolved often from mundane and static documents into increasingly bright and complex pages. I would often re-do a website once I had learned a new language or concept.

I strive to remain up-to-date with the latest web technology and concepts. I am constantly being inspired by the great programming and creativity displayed by companies such as Google and Facebook. I am thrilled with issues in programming; taking wild ideas and making them work. It does not matter how difficult certain functionality may be, if it needs to be implemented, I’ll always get it done. I see challenges, never problems.
